Marzahn Hills

How about ... a Hollywood sign just like the original but instead of leading to the dream factory, the sign greets the visitors to what is arguably one of the ugliest neighborhoods of Berlin, or at least the one with the worst reputation ...?

Such runs the idea of a group of Berlin based artists who are currently still looking for funding. The district council has already given its seal of approval. Once the sign is completed, it'll look something like this:

As far as I'm concerned, anything to add a little bit of spice to that area is welcome! 

So, I am, of course, a big supporter of the project.
